Spiced Ginger Cake
A classic, spiced ginger cake but in customer friendly slice form. Perfect as the weather turns cooler.
Our wholesale trays of flapjacks, brownies, shortbreads and cake are baked by hand, in Devon using the same time-honoured techniques we’ve been using since 1980. Made to our own recipe, arriving in the same paper we bake them in, we pre-slice into 16 portions for convenience, ready for you to serve. At home in cafés, pubs, deli’s, garden centres, stately homes and events anything in between.

Ingredients
Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Black Treacle, Water, Pure Vegetable Margarine (Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Salt), Golden Syrup, Free Range Eggs, Light Brown Soft Sugar, Stem Ginger (6%), Cane Sugar Syrup, Humectant: Glycerine, Ground Ginger (0.6%), Raising Agent: Bicarbonate of Soda, Ground Cinnamon (0.3%).
Product Care
Chilled: Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. May be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before Best Before date. This product can be frozen if previously kept refrigerated. Record on the box lid the product’s remaining days’ chilled life at the point of freezing. Keep in the closed box at -18°C for a maximum of twelve months. Thaw under refrigeration (<5°C). Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Use within the number of days’ remaining life recorded on the box lid from the date of removal from the freezer. May also be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days from the date of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before expiry of recorded remaining life. Do not re-freeze.
Frozen: Keep frozen in the sealed box at -18°C. Thaw under refrigeration (<5°C). Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Use within fourteen days from the date of removal from the freezer. May also be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days from the date of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before the expiry of fourteen days from the date of removal from the freezer. Do not re-freeze.
