Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing
A classic for a reason. Not too sweet and delicately spiced with walnuts and sultanas with an indulgent cream cheese topping.
Our wholesale trays of flapjacks, brownies, shortbreads and cake are baked by hand, in Devon using the same time-honoured techniques we’ve been using since 1980. Made to our own recipe, and always absolutely delicious. At home in cafés, pubs, deli’s, garden centres, stately homes and events anything in between.

Ingredients
Icing Sugar, Grated Carrot (15%), Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin, Raising Agents: Bicarbonate of Soda, Calcium Phosphates), Light Brown Soft Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Free Range Eggs, Sultanas (6%), Full Fat Soft Cheese (5%) (Cream Cheese Curd [Milk], Milk Proteins, Salt, Stabilisers: Carrageenan, Guar Gum, Thickener: Xanthan Gum, Preservative: Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid), Walnuts (4%), Glucose Syrup, Humectant: Glycerine, Mixed Spices (0.3%), Raising Agent: Bicarbonate of Soda.
Product Care
Chilled: Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. May be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before Best Before date. This product can be frozen if previously kept refrigerated. Record on the box lid the product’s remaining days’ chilled life at the point of freezing. Keep in the closed box at -18°C for a maximum of twelve months. Thaw under refrigeration (<5°C). Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Use within the number of days’ remaining life recorded on the box lid from the date of removal from the freezer. May also be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days from the date of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before expiry of recorded remaining life. Do not re-freeze.
Frozen: Keep frozen in the sealed box at -18°C. Thaw under refrigeration (<5°C). Keep covered. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Use within fourteen days from the date of removal from the freezer. May also be stored at ambient temperature : keep covered and use within two days from the date of removal from refrigeration, or, if sooner, before the expiry of fourteen days from the date of removal from the freezer. Do not re-freeze.
