Our bakery is lit exclusively by LED bulbs
We generate over 50% of our electricity requirements with a large photovoltaic installation
After reducing our carbon emissions, we then address the remaining unavoidable emissions (e.g. from diesel consumption of delivery vehicles) by calculating and offsetting them through worldwide projects that cut carbon emissions and improve living conditions for those communities.
We use hypoallergenic cleaning products that have a minimal impact on the ecosystem both in their use and manufacturer.
All our products containing palm oil come from RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified sustainable sources.
We recycle virtually 100% of all our own waste packaging.
Our food waste goes into making electricity through anaerobic digestion.
Friends of the Earth Charity
We make donations to Friends of the Earth who, for 40 years have been working to build a more positive relationship between people and their environment.
Every year we proud to donate to Winston’s Wish, the UK’s leading childhood bereavement charity.
We’re proud too of our staff – of which we’re fortunate to have many long standing and valued staff members – which we believe comes through in the quality and consistency of every delicious bite.
